Medium bodied, dry, slightly oaked
Attractive stone fruit and citrus flavours sing through undertones of cashew nut in this elegantly oaked light bodied cool climate wine. Lingering mineral acidity keeps this Chardonnay well balanced, taut and pristine.
Wine was fermented in a selection of new and older oak. Following fermentation the wine was aged on lees for 9 months with occasional battonage to impart complexity and enhance body.
Shellfish, spring vegetables, chicken, pasta, creamy soups, delicately spiced dishes.
